Ready to take your employee's awards and gifts to the next level by creating an experience? Then you don't want to miss this!

Hey Friend:

Do you do awards or gifts for your company? Are you always looking for something unique? Custom? Something that creates an experience? Then you’ll love this idea!

People want to be recognized AND to be given experience. That’s hard to do with your standard award which is why the forward-thinking company that Gitlab is wouldn’t settle for doing just an award for their President’s Club.

We were challenged with creating a gift. One that their employees would receive on stage at their Sales Kick-Off event for achieving President’s Club.

That gift had to create an experience that the winner and the person of their choosing could enjoy and set the stage for the upcoming President’s Club trip in Hawaii that they won!

So… what did we do? We created this custom engraved President’s Club wood box filled with goodies that tied into their reward to create the experience we wanted.

It would be presented to the winner on stage and we knew they couldn’t wait to open it to reveal what was inside. Their co-workers would also be looking on and we wanted them to be excited and a little envious so they would work harder next year to earn President’s Club too.

Choosing to do a wood box was intentional to tie in the natural beauty of Hawaii too.

Opening the wood box would reveal an elegant, custom invitation we created.

We thought about every detail including adding a gold, embossed decal of their Tanuki on the back of the envelope to enhance the elegance while tying into their branding.

We even surprised ourselves when we designed and brought these to life in just a couple of days to meet Gitlab’s deadline!

We wanted them to be excited! Grab their favorite person who supported them through the past year so they could achieve President’s Club.

Then share the enclosed bottle of champagne. Pouring the bubbly into the Corkcicle faux wood-engraved champagne cups.

People love decals and this is a great way for them to shout out to the world what they’ve accomplished!

The enclosed President’s Club decal would be shown off on their laptop for all to see no matter where they went. Unlike a standard award that stays in their office or their home giving them more recognition of this great accomplishment.

To add to the excitement and get them ready for the trip for two they’ve won to Hawaii, we created these fine leather, debossed President’s Club luggage tags.

Everyone was blown away by the beautiful set they received and we love that they got to share their prize with their favorite person. This helped take the experience to a whole new level and something your standard award could not achieve.

I’d love to hear what you think of this?

Any other ideas, suggestions that you have to create experiences and award your employees? Things that you've done or things you want to do?

Right now, more than ever it’s important that you are going the extra mile to recognize your team. Give them incentives. Build deeper relationships while showing them how much you appreciate them.

Next time you need to create gifts and awards, think outside of what you normally do and create a memorable experience that they’ll cherish and keep talking about!

If you need help, we’d be honored to help you!

Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you see these free tips every week when they come out. Thank you and have an amazing day.

P.S. I challenge you to do weekly or monthly recognition for your team. Do something as simple as a little decal or bigger like a gift set as the reward.

Use what I just showed you as inspiration and tell them we appreciate you and all you're doing. Right now, it's hard to hold everything together that we're asking our employees to do.

Always in your corner,
