Have an event coming up? Here's some quick tips to improve your marketing for it to get better results!

Want to learn some quick little tips on what you can do to tweak your marketing, to make it even better? That's what we're going to talk about today.This project was for an event Girly Girls Know Sports was doing in Chicago at a big sports bar. They were doing auctions, raffle items, live music, tailgate parties, a contest for the best tailgate recipe, education sessions, and autograph sessions with former Chicago Bears players.When they came to me and they said we're throwing this fun event and these are the promotional items that they want to do. They were just placing an order, but that's not how my mind works. My mind is always looking at what my clients are bringing to me and thinking "How can I do that better?" Three of the things really caught my attention so I asked, are you open to some ideas that I can help you make them even better?One of the things that they were doing is they were going to put coasters in the sports bar leading up to the event which would have their logo and their Facebook page on it. I thought, “How can we get them more engaged and come to the event”?They're sitting there in a bar, they have time to talk and sports fans like trivia so I thought we can take that same imprint area and instead of just doing their logo and  Facebook page, we can do a trivia question. One on each coaster so we do three different imprints. We were able to take what she was already doing and made it even better.The second thing they were doing was shirts. The original idea was white shirts with rhinestones. Cute! Right? But what some people don't know is that we can do two different imprint types. The top with the girls cheering that's screen printing and then below is the rhinestones. We combined it together and it looks so much better than just doing the rhinestones! Then I asked do you have the budget to go with a colored shirt instead of white? In case you didn't know white T-shirts are less expensive than darker T-shirts. I also know that white shirts don't sell as well and I really want this logo to pop. I thought, gray is very popular, women like lighter weight tees and V-necks too.Then I thought about what they had said about doing swag bags. I asked, what are you doing for your bags? She said I was going to get some really nice gift bags and then put the items in there. We all know that people are going to throw those bags away. Is that really a good investment? Instead, what if we do clear stadium totes branded to get Girly Girls Know Sports more exposure? That's where your target needs to be going, into stadiums, sports events. That's how you're going to get your name in front of more people.Do you see how this changes it? We just tweaked a few little things. Everything they're doing is absolutely amazing. All I did was look at what they were already doing and made these little changes to make them even better.There are several different things you can do for your next event.
