I am out here at GORGEOUS Marina Del Ray for a conference and I decided to come out a couple days early because I wanted time to work on my business without interruptions. It’s also time for my mid-year check-in and I wanted to do it when I had no other responsibilities or interruptions. As a Mom, Wife, business owner, etc. it’s hard to find space in my life where nobody needs me. I’m sure you understand! 😊
Have you done yours? If not, I highly recommend it! Here are some tips to think through when you are doing yours.1. Look at those goals that you set for yourself in January.
- How are you doing with them?
- What's going well?
- What do you need to tweak?
- Which ones aren’t serving you anymore and you need to delete.
- What are the things that are your needle movers, taking you to the next level?
- Look at your relationships.
- Who are you creating relationships with?
- Who are the top 5 people you spend the most time with? If you have chosen wisely, then those are the people who are going to take you to the next level. They’ll push you to be your best self.
- Do you have an Accountability Partner? Mine has really helped me. She cheers me on when I'm feeling down, pushes me when I feel blocked, loves me when I feel unlovable and gives me tough love when I need it to. I ALWAYS know that everything she does or says to me comes from a place of her wanting me to be my best.
- Are you in a Mastermind group? These groups are amazing if you have the right people in them. Find yours and you’ll be thankful you did.
- How are things with your significant other? I have an awesome husband (20 years together and still going strong)! He supports me through everything I do even getting away by myself for a couple days to work on my business and me.
- Take time to self-reflect and just be.
- In these moments is where you’ll see things that you hadn’t seen before because you took the time to be still. To stop your brain from constantly going. New thoughts and ideas will just come to you. Let them come. Ask yourself questions. Ask yourself what you aspire to be. Don’t judge the answers. Write down what comes up.
I’m hoping that you WILL take some time for yourself and do this. Schedule it! Go someplace that you can just unwind, that you can be inspired by the beauty around you and you can work on your business and do your mid-year check-in. This is how you’ll grow. I hope that this and the pictures below of mine inspire you.

- Enter what marketing activity you’ll do and when
- List your top 3 priorities that month
