Are you stuck in the sea of sameness? Do you know what I'm talking about? When you're handing out your business cards is it like everybody else's?  I have business cards that I picked up over the last two days at two small events. They all look the same. There are small subtle differences but at the end of the day when you hand a paper business card out, it's swimming in the “sea of sameness”. I don't want you “drown” there so that's what I want to help you with today.Are you stuck in the sea of sameness? Do you know what I'm talking about? I don't want you “drown” there so that's what I want to help you with today.When you hand out your business card, I want the people that you give them to say... Oh! Wow! I’ve never received anything like this. That's cool and it got my attention! This is what will make you stand out from the crowd and be memorable. Let’s look at some examples of different cards in different ways that you can do. What kind of business card would be great for an insurance agent? An RFID protector! They could imprint it like a business card or put his branding on the outside and put his business card inside. In case you didn’t know, an RFID protector protects the person's driver's license number and credit card information from identity thieves so they can't be read by their equipment. What would be a good business card for a personal growth strategist? How about doing a plant a tree card? On the card, there's a download link taking them to a website. They then choose anywhere in the world they want to plant their tree. They keep this card because it’s a place for them to wind up their headphones so they're not a tangled mess and every time they use it, they're thinking about you. Don't you think this is way more memorable than a regular business card? What would be good for a dentist’s business card? How about a lip balm and say, “Let me brighten your smile!” This would definitely get their attention, over the regular business card. What would work for a real estate agent?  How about a card with a seeded home related shape that can be planted and flowers will grow. On the card do a fun message like "Wake up and be awesome" or "I want to make your world a better place” or “I want to make your world more beautiful" This is going to make a realtor memorable! What about for a coach? How about a music download card with tangle-free headphone winder? We know that if we start our day with meditation, with music, we can be more productive. Tell them to download their favorite and start their day out right!I love handing out my microfiber cloth business card. It has a nice big imprint area and is useful for everyone. The front of mine says, "Psst... know why I'm smiling?" and they have to open up to figure out why. When they do, they see a message that says "Because I love helping awesome people like you whether you want more referrals, you want to motivate your sales team or open doors to new prospects. I'm always here to help you with your marketing goals". There are so many possibilities that we can do with this type of card for you.I hope that this helped you.
